Cu-Poches x Nendoroids

Do you want to have more fun with your nendoroids? Do you need something else to consume your life and money? Check out Cu-poches , also know as Cute Poches which are just as fun as nendos. Here I will go over the differences between the two and talk about compatability between the figurines.

Cu-poches are in a sense larger nendoroids. Cupches, just like nendos come with varying accessories and multiple face plates  just like the nendoroids do, for a variety of expressions. Cu-poches do have some very telling differences though that the nendoroids can't quite compete with.

1. Size
Cu-poches and nendoroids are both non-scale figures but the cu-poches are quite a bit larger. if you're lookign for a slightly bigger display piece these are fun to play around with and can even act as big sisters or brothers to the nendoroid figurines. Because they are larger though dioramas and accessories used by nendoroids don't quite fit the. It shouldn't be a problem to scale up though, and Cu-poches usually come with their own sets of accessories and also have extra sets  of clothing and food that you can purchase separately.

2. Articulation

While this seems like a shot at nendoroids it's really not that big of a deal. while cu-poches have more joints which lead to more poses, nendoroids often come with extra sets of arms and legs for varying poses and it shouldn't be much of a hassle to find cute poses for them although you have more freedom with the former. In the defense of nendoroids, some people don't like the look of all the joints that are show on Cu-poches. Nendoroids although less poseable have a more seemless and uniform look to them. GSC has recently been releasing new super moveable edition nendoroids with more joints in the legs to keep them on equal ground with Poches.

3. Stands
both figures come with stands, but nendoroids usually come with a hole in the back of the figurine where a stand is fitted into it, while Cu-poches have magnets in the feet which allows them to stand alone. This can be a plus or a minus depending on how you personally feel, but it can be difficult to get the begs in new nendoroid backs.

4. Win-Win

One thing that is cool about both lines is, although not 100% compatable, you can swap parts between the two. Cu-poche doesn't have the coverage of characters that nendoroid has but same goes for nendoroid. There are some characters that are produced by both but you can come up with some really cute and unique characters by swapping between the two? If you want a larger Miku, you can alway pop her head on a Cu-poche body! No nendoroid Hidamari Sketch characters, just take the Cu-Poche head. there's tons of fun to be had with both and it ultimately comes down to just buying whichever you think is the cutest!
